Well, im sure most of yall know im the one thats been having a blast with 4x512 sticks of GeIL DDR500 with my MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum. (Yes, thats sarcasm!) I've even tried the original 2x512 sticks at 2t and 1t timings and get the exact same performance as the 4x512. Each time i try something i get 5600 somethin in 3dmark03. Even when setting the speed of the 4x512 at 200mhz from 166mhz, its the exact same. I have a 3000 Venice so i'm supposed to be able to run ddr400 speeds at 2t timings dual channel with all 4 dimms filled. When i also put the new ram in i upgrade the hard drive from a Maxtor Diamond Max Plus 9 to a Maxtor Diamond Max Plus 10 (200gb, 7200rpm, SATA150, and 16mb Cache). The other was a 120gb IDE 133 with like 2 or 8mb Cache. I don't think thats the problem, but who knows at this point. So what do yall think? Is it the MSI 9800pro being retarded, the MSI NEO2 Platinum being retarded with my venice, or by some odd chance the hard drive?😕
 
Quess what, it is the hard drive! I tried installing the drivers for everything and the SATA drivers, but no dice. They wouldn't install so now im reformatting my entire harddrive and reinstalling all the drivers and everything! Thanks for the help!
