What could be the source of this problem? XP reboots by itself after 10 or 15 minutes on it.

No matter what I'm doing, either surfing the net or just moving some files within the network, it will gave me a BSOD, with errors like crosslinks or something related to the temp folder or another one was something about "dump" (?). It will reboot, go to scandisk, fix the errors and logon normally for about 10 or 15 minutes and then again BSOD, over and over again, I redo the system 3 times, formatting every time and deleting the partitions and creating new ones with different sizes, and still no go.
My system is a AMD XP 1500+ (not OC), 512 DDR Zeus RAM, 60 gigs IBM Desktar (master), and 30 gigs Maxtor (slave), SB Live, Ati video card (64 RAM), and the mobo is an Epox 8K7A, and running XP Pro.

Any help will be appreciated.

They go too fast to read them, the pc reboot in a few seconds, I know about the others errors when is done with scandisk.

I'm sorry is I can't be more explicit.

You can get the numbers from the system event log from an event logged by "Save Dump."

You can also turn off autoreboot in System Control Panel, Advanced, Startup and Recovery.

Thanks, I didn't know about turn in off the autoreboot setting, I will do that, for the log is long gone, I already reformatted my HDD, now I'm using only the Maxtor, I suspect that the IBM is causing the problems, I might RMA again this piece of crap, since I installed and I have been running for the last 1/2 hour with no problems (thanks God).

Best regards

A bad hard drive is not likely to cause a blue screen. (Unless it's the drive the OS and/or pagefile is on, in which case a STOP 77 might happen...)
