It means we aren't using seafoam, so I guess it does mean something.

None, I guess, other than anecdotal. What evidence do I need to not want to risk it? Considering it works by breaking up carbon and other deposits, and on a DI engine that means those are going right back into the engine that uses high pressure injection without a fuel rinse. Is it a stretch to think that that isn't a good thing unless you can eliminate them (via a can) first?

Also, like I said, I have turbos as well. Please don't try and tell me that seafoam is a good idea on my engine. Is it hurting you at all for me not to want to use or stand behind this product?

I wanted evidence for your suggestion. If it comes down to "I don't like it, haven't done it, and nothing bad has happened" that's fine. If there was more to the story it would be more interesting and possibly illuminating. But you've got nothing to backup your suggestion except the absence of evidence and a few suppositions. Again, that's fine and all for you, I just wanted to push you a little bit to see if there was anything substantial behind it.

I haven't read any story where using seafoam as directed actually harmed an engine. Fouled a few plugs, sure, but never any damage.

No sorry, I didn't mean to suggest I had first hand evidence that it destroys DI engines. Just that I won't be using it here because of any potential.

And again, turbos too.
