I'm planning on overclocking my AMD Athlon 64 3200 Venice to around 2.4-2.6 GHz if it will allow. What's a good, silent cooling solution to use? Does the Zalman work well? What about the Arctic Cooling Silencer 64 Ultra, or the Freezer Series?

Zalman 7000, Zalman 7700, Thermalright XP-90, and the Thermalright XP-120 are all good coolers. For silence, the Zalmans are the best.

I have a Thermalright XP-90. Which fan should I use? Panaflow? Don't say the Vantech Tornado one, the one that's louder than a leafblower. :p

Thanks!

Thermaltake Sonic Tower with a 120mm fan on would do nicely. It's cools just slightly worse maybe like 2 degrees less than the XP90 with a high performance fan, but it's a lot quieter.

freezer64 is good.cheap, quiet, easy to fit ie no taking mb out and does the job well.not really sure why its not more popular.only thing i can think of is it not the best looking cooler but that doesnt matter if you havent got a window.
