ice cream cookies or I had an idea to bake chocolate cookies but sprinkled with sea salt.

I made fluffernutter cookies today and they weren't really as good as I'd hoped. if I were to do it again, I think I'd just use the entire jar of PB and fluff and add an extra egg yolk. they ended up being kinda dry.

They both look fucking disgusting. Bake some nice oat cookies, or macadamia nut.

Edit - well the ice cream ones look OK but too sweet.

I had a chocolate + sea salt bar a couple weeks ago and it was actually pretty good. reminded me of a chocolate covered pretzel.

I love sea salt. But what it a chocolate sea salt bar? What's the bar made of? Is it cookie like or more brittle like biscotti?

One of the best things Subways makes is their white chocolate chip and macadamia nut cookies. Not sure if they have them in New Zealand or not?

it was a chocolate bar with a bit of sea salt mixed in. not a ton, just enough to give it a little bite.

Wait a minute loki, aren't you on a diet? Hope you haven't fallen off the wagon :p ;)
not really on a diet since my doctor told me to stop losign weight, but they're not for me... it's part of my neverending quest to make my friends fat ;)

I'm going to a potluck memorial day BBQ on monday and I need something to bring. I didn't want to do food-food since I'll be arriving late and the host is making a cake so baking a pie seemed pointless; cookies seemed like the next best thing.

Huh. Interesting sounding. Where did you get this. Is it a commercial product or hand made? Will have to try that some time.

How much did you lose in total? Last time you posted a pic you seemed to be looking good considering you said you used to weigh... what was it 240 or something?

Wow congrats on loose that much!! However you do look too skinny in the 2nd pic actually so your doc sounds right about stopping.

I had a similar thing occur to me several years ago when I went from 260 down to about 135 and looked rail thin. I've since gone back up to 260 and lost it again and now I'm at 195.

100% agree on the fluffernutter. Like something a kid would come up with.

Nothing beats a good oatmeal or chocolate cookie (like chocolate almond).

White chocolate macadamia nut cookies are phenomenal and my favorite kind of cookies.

I love white chocolate. I'm a recovering addict; I don't eat them that often anymore, but I do love Lindt and Green & Black's once in a while. So deliciously creamy.

Lindt is the best chocolate maker that has wide distribution and is relatively cheap (compared to some gourmet stuff). The Swiss make the best milk chocolate and white chocolate.
