My idea of upscale casual dress is usually a pair of banana republic pants with a dress shirt (untucked) and a sweater on top.

That = sexy = the women!

Edit: Oh, and make sure that the sweater is a half zipper, and keep the collar up!

Don't have any on hand. Let me see if I can find some pics of the clothes I am thinking of.

An example of the pants. Personally I'd go with something a bit darker though, if your top is plain I'd go with striped pants, adds some flair. Otherwise the whole outfit looks a bit bland.

An example of the shirt. I think the color in this one is absolutely disgusting. I'd go with say, that type of shirt in white, with light blue/another color stripes.

Here's an example of the sweater. I'd go with this color personally.
