Of course not. But if they're expecting $50+ million in revenue from the DLC, then it stands to reason that it'll have to be good enough to justify selling that much. This isn't horse armor we're talking about... It's 10 hours of additional game content. It's closer to a real expansion than to typical DLC.

"50 million dollars thousand dollars" I don't think we'll find out anything anytime soon, unless I missed some news. I thought the DLC was due several months from now, and I didn't think we'd hear details this soon.

360. And not because I dont own a ps3. I dont own a ps3 because there are no games out that I would even buy a ps3 for. I bought the 360 originally for GTA4, then the game got pushed back. Since then I have bought about 25 360 games and have been having a blast with it. The only game I regret buying is Transformers. To me the DLC is a big plus IMO. If I didnt have a nextgen console I would definately get the 360 anyway because of the better game selection, IMO.

Bought my 360 last night. The reason was basically that i knew two games that I wanted now for the XBox and none for the PS3. The DLC w/ the XBox version of GTA4 is just icing on the cake.

I could have saved money if I went ht ePS3 route though. probably $100 or so.

360 version. This will be one of the few if not only games that I get DLC for. I don't buy my games until the end of the year when gamestop has their buy 2 used games, get 1 free deals. I usually by 12 - 15 games then.

I have both consoles, and I'm getting the 360 version. Better controller (with the exception of the D-pad) + Xbox Live + DLC = no brainer for me.

I think they usually have one of those sales in the spring too.

I have both. Getting it for the 360. The PS3 controller can't compare to the comfort of the 360 controller.

IHateMyJob, think it thru. The BluRay support is ok, but the games just aren't there for the PS3 yet. I have both, but if I only had one it would be the 360 with no question.

I actually preordered it - the only game I've ever done that for aside from Rock Band - although I only did it because I had a Best Buy GC and had no interest in going to the actual store. Hopefully I'll get it on or around launch.

I've been rushing to beat Saints Row the past few weeks to get me ready for GTA. It's fairly good, but I imagine my opinion of it will change from "fairly good" to "embarrassingly laughable" on the 29th.

I would say that there are plenty of games out for the PS3 now to keep most people happy. It just seems bad because if you have both and prefer the 360, there's not much you'd buy for the PS3. I would still generally recommend the 360 if you're only getting one system due to the substantially better collection of (good/great) games, but the PS3 has a lot of other things going for it. Blu-ray player is nice, built-in wifi is great if you need it (Microsoft rips you off on accessories :| ). Some people are more used to the PS3 controller and prefer it. PSN is free. PS3 has a respectable amount of storage space in the cheapest model. And so on and so forth.

I already have a 360, so I'm not getting a console for it. But if I had neither, I'd pick up a PS3. Waiting for the MGS package though before I get a PS3.
