what computer skill are you most proud of?

I"m proud that I can go on mirc, dl some software, find a crack (would be even better if I could write the crack...but I"m not good yet), install it, then set it up on my ftp site (all legally, of course). It may not seem like much, but to me I'm amazed at all the things I learned doing just that (what with all the intermediate steps involved)

edit: it's not the dl'ing of software that I"m proud of...but the skills I've developed, and how they can be implemented during that process

I'm most proud spending my "hard earned" cash to pay my online bills only to be greeted with mass amounts of stupidity on a daily basis. Oh yea, that makes it all worth it.

I guess that would have to be trouble-shooting software problems and resolving them without the use of the brutal reloading the drive. Also, hardware trouble-shooting...

Why? Because this skill is what earns my paycheck 🙂 Been doing it for 5 years now. I think it's time for a change though.

Also, writting reports (and fixing them) using Seagate Crystal Reports. Wins me a lot of points with the ladies at work 😉 Nothing more satisfying than some accountant call me up "Help! This stupid report I wrote isn't working!"... and go and show her she had her tables setup all wrong, or something like that. 🙂

I hope my next "skill I am most proud of" will be programming.

Skilled use of the Off switch when it's time to quit, instead of lingering for an extra hour, or two, or four, or.... 😉

Being a paid informant for the SPA. Narcing on warez-kiddies and having warez sitez shut down.

<< (all legally, of course) >>

Like any of us believe that for a second.

For your above described actions, are you really proud? It sounds more like you're deviously pleased with your aptitude.

being able to snipe two opposite snipers, wound a heave weapons guy and graneade kill a soldier with one leap.

The fact that I taught myself HTML. I am by no means an expert yet, but I am getting there slowly but surely.

One hand typing.

LMAO! Good one! 😀

Being able to learn and effectively use a piece of software after sitting down and fiddling with it for a 30-60 minutes or less. 🙂

Also my hardware knowledge and system building proficiency.

Using a WYSIWYG editor or text?

Learning HTML through Notepad, then switching overt to DreamWeaver.

Also, being able to kill many many people in Q2.. 🙂

nd: I use text, I tried Dreamweaver, but after learning it the hard way, I found that program to be a pain in the butt.
