I say get him GTA3. Show it to all the PC people out there who mistaken believe that it will turn him violent. I'm 17, and I haven't picked up a hooker, had sex, and then killed her to get my money back... yet.

Get WarCraft III. It's incredibly interesting and addictive, and intellectually challenging. Other than that, BF1942 is also pretty good, and so is GTA3, but he'll get sick of it quickly.

I have GTA3 for PC (sealed, never opened) which I'm willing to sell.

PM me an offer.

It really depends what kind of games he is into. You probably can't go wrong with GTA 3 to a 15 year old but I think BF1942 and NOLF2 are both new, top-notch games.

Civilization III. It's a strategy game with some historical/technological education value.

(Actually, Civilization II is even better in that respect, but it might be difficult to find in retail stores)
