Gotta say... Lenovo/IBM does nothing for me. I guess I must have missed her beauty years... now it's all down hill, I'm afraid.

HPs are sexy, in a way, if you like black. Maybe I'll change my luck!

Apple are different, but I'm not ready to come out of the closet yet...

I dunno... I guess it all depends on what you're looking for...

Personally, I think it's the Alienware Area-51 m9750, but to each his own! 😉

i liked the HP Pavillion series, those look pretty good to me, i ended up with an asus. for me HP first then Asus.

Any glossy black laptop should look pretty good, HP's look nice, although I don't like HP. Macbooks like nice also but they're very expensive...

I was talking to a tech @ PC Club an hour ago, and asked him about Acer notebooks - if they were any good.

He said, "Yeah, they 're okay... nothing special about them... no worse or better than anything else we sell." Then, he added (unsolicited), "Speaking as a tech, I can tell you that we see more HPs in here than anything else!"

Take it for what it's worth... that's what I did! 😉

I'm very happy with HP. I have the ADP with my laptop, and I dropped it over my vacation this last week and borked my DVD burner. They are sending me a new one as we speak no questions asked.
