Bodum makes nice grinders. I have their antigua which is a pretty good conical burr grinder for the price. The really high end ones can easily cost 5x as much. But this is probably overkill if you only make auto drip coffee. It's worked out well for french press and espresso though :)

I grow coffee plants
I roast my own coffee
and I grind and brew with this machine.
I love it.

Coffee Makers > CoffeeTEAM Luxe (Model #453)

The only combination machine with a CONICAL BURR GRINDER! Just pour in the beans, program the time AND the amount of coffee to be ground? and CoffeeTEAM Luxe does the rest!

Bunn. I have a Krupps, but it is cheap. I think I paid $50 for just the coffee maker. Dont be afraid to spend some money if you want a good one.

Mazzer Mini for a grinder if you have the cash, cleans up very easy and quiet and no static....Also does a killer grind. A bit on the pricey side if you're just going to use it for press or drip. For a brewer have you tried a presspot or do you just use drip? A decent grinder for a halfway decent price is a solis maestro for around $100, but thats still a lot if your not a coffee geek:D

I agree with many of the above posts... don't buy a cheap coffee maker!!! I have a relatively new $30 Mr. Coffee, and it SUCKS!!! The mother in law has a great Copresso, and it makes just an amazing cup of coffee. If you don't want to spend $100, i got my mom a decent Krupps... she seems to like it......

If you want good coffee cheap buy a bodum french press, You can pick 'em up for about $20. Won't work if you want it on a timer and requires a little more manual work, but makes great coffee.

I've had cheapies (Mr. Coffees and GEs) and good ones (Krups and Braun)..............currently have a Braun and am quite happy with it......fast and good coffee. Krups is also very nice.

Bunn is the one. 10 cups in 3 minutes. We're on our second Bunn in 26 years, and the first one actually still works fine.
