Here's a picture of my car, a 1996 Buick Regal GS. Color code says "Teal". So OPs car cannot be teal. :\

That's definitely teal.

The Honda in question may be somewhere between blue and green, but it's definitely much closer to blue (in the picture, anyway) and it's definitely not 'teal'

96 Regal kicks ass, btw. I had that very car for a while. You wouldn't think it but the thing has some balls.

and well, teal is basically right between blue and green so if the color is called teal officially I think the blue v.s. green debate will never resolve.

It's /barely/ teal, if it is at all. I call things teal when they have a more distinct green element. I still say it's some kind of blue. From the paint sample above...

Looks like a 1994-1997 Honda Accord.

Had to say with the lighting when picture was taken, but I'll go with Mystic (Teal) Blue Pearl ;)

OP, open the driver side door/trunk and look for the color code. Compare with the chart posted in link.

I'm not actually near the car, it was pulled from a listing. Probably won't actually be seeing it either because he wants far too much for it and it's several years older than I'd like

Very calming, very tranquil. I think the word for that particular shade is cerulean, actually. Cerulean blue. Cerulean makes me think of a breeze. A gentle breeze.

This is the factory color: FL1. It has multiple names, Blue Jade Pearl, Teal Pearl, and according to Paintscratch it's Greenish Blue Pearl. I think it's more blue, she thinks it's more green.

EDIT>> Here's some representative pics.

Man color, that's blue. But it's totally blue-green, and if you were trying to see it as something more upscale than the working man's blue:

...then I can sorta see trying to call it "green".

My friend's dad has an SUV that either appears to be green, blue, or purple, depending on how light hits it and the angle you look at it from.
