Rice maybe?

I've heard that term used a lot of times to describe Rice, Vanderbilt, or Emory.

I guess my profile is not visible and I forgot to save my signature. It's Rice University, and that's what people call it sometimes down here in Texas and other Southwestern states.

I meant to say "Harvard of the Southwest." According to Fiske, Duke is the best overall in the south, Rice is second only to Duke.

Alright, enough discussion. Go to another thread.

I'm sure they're flattered and can make fun of Yalies in the process ("You don't see anyone saying 'Yale of the South'!").
