So I am trying to figure out what I want to do in school and what college I should go to. So I thought why not have random people on an internet forum choose make one of the most important life decisions for me! Requirements are that is it within the continental United States. I am a fairly smart guy but we aren't talking Ivy League material here. I will take nominations here and post a thread for voting on the best nominations to determine the final winner later.

which ones have you been accepted to? If you haven't been accepted then you are in no position to be "picky" if you know what i mean :D

(i.e. you are nowhere near your "nomination" stage)

at a minimum, we'd need to know what you planned on studying, how far from home you're willing to go (and keep in mind that the further away you are, generally the less stuff you can bring with you), and big v small school.

If you aren't ivy league then state school or wherever offers you the cheapest tuition

a. What do you intend to study?
b. What state do you reside in? This is important because if you're in, for example, California, the UC schools are a great option and are significantly cheaper than private schools.

Go to your state U. It's cheap and probably not all that competitive, so there will be lots of girls there who are mediocre students looking for a good time and an easy degree.

Go to your state university. That or a community college if you don't get accepted. (Almost impossible to NOT get accepted)

For a good time, come to NYU. The city provides you with a very enriching life outside of school. Any school in Boston would provide a good experience as well. Northwestern/UChicago for the Chicago lifestyle, UCLA, UCSD are both quite nice places to live as well.
