I went to the prestigious SUNY College at Brockport woohoo!!! I don't think I could handle going to a big D1 school. I'm a small-town boy 🙂

Pierce College - Asso. of Arts & Sciences
St. Martin's College (soon to be university) - BS in Computer Science

working on the last 2 right now, should be done before I'm 30, w00t

Some people went to school for reasons other than the sports teams..... NCSU was actually 10th of 11 on the schools I applied to for undergrad. But it was hard to convince my parents to pay money for me to go somewhere else when State was free.

The general consensus is that you should change schools when going for a PhD--the different perspective from your masters is valuable. Not to mention, NCSU blew for what I studied for my PhD.

No, UPENN is bad. People seem to love the allure of Ivy League Universities even though their academic support is lacking and a lot of the people are college elitist sorts of people. No, I'm not bitter or anything, I got accepted there 😛

I go to Temple University, which is in Philadelphia as well for people who don't know 🙂

Heh, the OP makes himself sound pretty stupid, but Penn State's honors school is actually quite good... I think one of my friends at Carnegie Mellon (my alma mater) said that their engineering program at the honor school is very good.
