What Coffee maker should I get?

I've never even heard of this and I'm not paying $10 for weak coffee. What I need is experience with coffee makers. I did have a percolator that worked well but I want the programability of a modern machine so when I awake it's hot and ready to go.

I have 4 different coffee devices, a dedicated water boiler, burr grinder, fresh roasted beans, etc.

Stopped touching ALL OF THAT after cold brew concentrate. I wake up, throw some ice cubes in a cup, throw some water in there, pour in cold brew concentrate to my desired strength and mix. BOOM delicious coffee in < 30 seconds, no equipment required.

YMMV.

Can't you just cold brew yourself with your own beans in big batches?

I don't want to wake up and do anything except pour hot coffee. I bumped this thread to discuss coffee makers, not the best-tasting method.

I DON'T WANT ICED COFFEE!.....THE "BOTTLED" PRE-MADE COFFEE YOU USE IS NOT AVAILABLE AROUND HERE AND I WOULDN'T BUY IT IF IT WERE...one more time, I'm seeking info about a COFFEE MAKER, not ANY pre-made product. Nor would I want anything that uses proprietary "pods", I want to brew regular Maxwell house coffee and it has to have a timer built into it, OK?.

The wife and I user our Keurig all the time. Bought it some four years ago and it has worked flawlessly that whole time. They're all over both of our workplaces so the convenience factor is huge.

I would go with a Melitta cone filter. It's ideal for single cups and it's cheap. Plus if you buy the Melitta brand coffee too - which of course you don't have to except maybe to get the cone and a few filters - they always have great blends. But you can also buy preground coffee like Jamaican blue mountain which is great black.

Yea, fresh grinding is a noticable difference. Since you own it tell me this, is the water dispenser just a pipe with some holes in it (which the B+D unit I'm returning has) or is it round in shape?, I just can't see where a single pipe can get adequate coverage on the coffee.
