Linear Algebra, it was the teacher mainly. I dropped the class and will take it with a different instructor. The review for a test was the book. He could not speak english that good with his favorite word being ya in a question form, ya?

It pisses me off that I pay $10k+ per year for this kind of service.

Hardest course...Microeconomics. Try learning economics when the teacher is Russian, doesn't speak but one sentence in english, and that sentence is, "90% of my students will fail."

Physics..

One of the major reasons I decided not to stick with Computer Engineering anymore.. hate Physics. That and the CE class was boring.

Linear algebra. I don't know why, but my bottom was subservient to that class. I took the same prof for modern algebraic abstract structures, and still didn't really get everything he was saying. I got a C+ out of LA and a B+ out of MAAS from him. Tough prof, but I feel like I learned waaaaaaaaay more out of the second class than the first. Oh yeah, physiology was pretty hard, but I loved it so I stuck with it and got an A.

Huh... Yeah same here... as long as the course isn't anything evil like MATH.

Organic chemistry I and II was by hard the hardest I've ever taken. I can remember more organic chemistry than from any engineering course I ever took, yet I passed by only 1.something points. Really really tough teacher made a typically really tough course next to impossible. Of the 30 or so students who started OrgI, only about a dozen showed up for the final... the rest had failed. (it was taught as a senior/grad level course)

As far as math courses.... that most people are complaining about... I only ever studied for one math course, and that's because I skipped class (with the prof's permission) for 2 weeks. I wanted to know what it was like to have math anxiety and be lost in a math class. Not pleasant. So my advice to those who find math hard: NEVER miss a class... once you're behind, you're hopelessly lost. I still got an A in that class though.

Even if you don't miss class, some profs make exams that don't directly relate to what they teach in class.

Right now I think that my Signals and Systems class as well as my Adv. Calc. II class last semester take the cake. Both subjects aren't too difficult conceptually but the profs make the exams impossibly difficult.

Spanish for me was hte hardest it got. When I finally started seeing a tutor, though, the class made a lot more sense to me. My Real Analysis course is probably the hardest one I am currently taking. Delta-epsilon proofs own me. :(

Linear Algebra :(. Almost anything that involves abstract math concepts (proofs and such) = 0h t3h p4in.

Organic Chemistry II was a b!tch all three times I took it.

The hardest class I've taken by quite a wide margin.

Spanish 3, argh :( Had more grammar than my english classes. Pre-Calc is a close second, but that's mainly because the class is mindlessy boring.
