The Eiffel tower doesn't look like that and there is an opening infront if it as well, which this does not.

ahh yes. Now I remember where I had seen it.

My friend was looking through bbzzdd and asked me what city it was and I thought i had dled that pic in some wallpaper pack and had the city name as the file name. I guess I had actually seen it from your link looking for 1920x1200 res wallpapers. thanks
