Honestly my dream team of cigerates would be a pack like this

12 Marlboro reds, 3 27s, 2 parlimant lights, and 3 newports. But that cant happen. And i dont want to carry a bunch of packs around so i just buy reds cause most of the time i want one anyways.

When I did smoke, it was Marlboro Lights. I started with Camel Filters back when I was young.

But please take the advice from someone who knows first hand: Quit now. The sooner the better.

I smoked for 15+ years and I fear the damage I have done is irreversible. Even after 4+ years smoke free, I still have problems.
What if they like smoking?

What if they like using heroin? Doesn't make it healthy.

So? That's not the point. I like smoking.

Right, the point went right over your head, as expected.

Life isn't based around what is the most healthy lifestyle. Life is based around what people want to do.

That's fine. I'm not forcing them to do anything, am I?

I used to LOVE smoking. I did even after I quit.

But I saw first hand what it does and started suffering some ill effects myself.

the more you smoke the shorter you'll live, so smoke up. at least 20 packs a day should do the trick.

Doesn't mean it's your business. That said, I'm really glad I quit. Tobacco, that is :p

Why do cigarette smokers have a specifc brand that they smoke? You don't normally find people who only drink a specific type of alcohol, or only like one flavor of ice cream, so what makes cigarettes different?

<- not a smoker.

Um, not true. Most beer drinkers have a fav brand, but they will settle for others in a pinch. Same for foods or sodas.

Not in my experience. There are lots of people buying a different microbrew every week to try new beers, and I don't know anyone who wouldn't get sick of eating the same food every day.

Alcoholics have some of the fiercest brand loyalty you can find. My brother had a professor that worked on a study of brand loyalty among alcoholics.
She said she asked one alkie why he would only drink Miller Lite and the guy answered "Because it is the only beer that you can open at 2AM, realize it's your last beer in the house, put it back in the fridge and come back to it in the morning and it doesn't taste any different."

Yeah! That's a good way to live.
Do you eat high fat foods, drive fast, or suntan? Do you realize the double standard you live day to day, and the reasons you find to justify it? No that would require you to pull your head out of your ass for a moment and take a look at yourself, which won't happen.

That's fine. I'm not forcing them to do anything, am I?

Right on. So you're not a nazi about anti-smoking.

Of course not. If you recall, I'm very libertarian about smoking and believe it is unconstitutional for government to force businesses to ban it against their will. Property rights are paramount.

That said, I now hate the smell of the stuff and will prefer places that do not smell like it.

I started with Winston Lights went to Turkish Golds and Eventually to Doral Menthol Lights... Quit for 7 months and started back up recently.. :( The one thing that I have learned, is that once you smoked, it sticks with you forever . It becomes a part of you almost. Seems like even if you quit, you will still crave cigarettes.

Yes, you will always have a craving here and there.

But I figured its better to crave and live than to smoke and die.

That's great for them if they enjoy smoking, but it becomes a burden on me when I have to breathe that sh!t in too.
