Many methodist churches have been said to be quite accepting to homosexuality. Thank goodness I am not associated with a denomination like that..
Indeed; it's hard to imagine how one could be saved if they stopped hating.
*yawn*, i never said I hated anyone. You might assume that, but the bible explicitly says that homosexuality is wrong. I don't believe you can follow christianity and support that way of living. It is like the Church making murders and theives their pastors... it wouldn't be right, never will be right.
Actually, mr. hypocritical bigot, the bible says nothing about lesbians, just men. My Aunt served in the army, had a long term relationship with a very nice woman (post-service), adopted three nice young kids, and was a very active member in an open and loving methodist church.
Asshole.
I see she decided to avoid half of the bible.... I never said that homosexuals can't be good citizens and can't be loving people, but that doesn't get you into heaven.
Face it, you can not be a devout Christian and say there is nothing wrong with homosexuality. You may disagree with me, but people who say such things are the only ones who give Christians a bad name.
