I use

Context Menu Search
highlight any word/phrase and select a search engine to use to search in a new tab
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/...ga?utm_source=chrome-app-launcher-info-dialog
also in options you have:
Open results in a background tab
The new tab should be next to the current tab

Copy URL+
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/...mn?utm_source=chrome-app-launcher-info-dialog
did you ever want to copy the hyperlink text only (or text and link? or highlitext text and link ... it's customizable)
NOTE some right click menues work when you right click on a link - others ONLY when you highlight text/link and right click
Key features
- Keyboard shortcuts
- Flexible context menus
- URL shortening
- Notifications

Google Dictionary (by Google)
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/...ja?utm_source=chrome-app-launcher-info-dialog
Display pop-up when I double-click a word ...

I use the following:

AdBlock Plus
chromeIPass (Keepass integration)
Chromium Wheel Smooth Scroller
Cisco WebEx Extension
Enhanced Steam
Google Docs
Jabber Call
Plex
Sticky Notes

On Chromium and Chrome I only have uBlock Origin and a black theme installed. My primary browser is Waterfox (Firefox), and sometimes I used Edge.

I always install:

AdBlock
Ghostery
1Password

and recently I tested out WikiBuy on one of my systems. It seems to be unobtrusive/useful enough to keep around, so I put it on the rest of them.

uBlock Origin - Block advertisements
Google Link Fixer - Prevents Google from changing the URL of the search result when you click on it

Context Menu Search is one of my most most-used plugins. Couldn't live without it.

Adblock Plus
Context Menu Search
Cookie Monster
Cookies Button
DInstagram
Disable Extensions Temporarily
Ghostery
Improved Tube
Reload all Tabs
ScriptSafe
Simple Calendar
Speed Dial [FVD]
Stylish
Tabs menu
Tampermonkey
The Camelizer
Translate Seleced Text
View Image Info
Window Resizer

Cookie Monster
An easy one button click to delete all cookies from the current site.

Cookies Button
A more complete cookies manager, with search/view/edit/delete.

Disable Extensions Temporarily
Very handy, especially if you do any kind of development, or you have trouble with a site.

Improved Tube
Improves (fixes) the functionality of YouTube.

Speed Dial [FVD]
My #1 most used extension. Basically a tabbed home page, with thumbnail links to most visited sites. Nicer and easier to use that bookmarks. The very topmost visited sites go on my bookmarks bar, most everything else goes on a Speed Dial tab, then bookmarks as a third level.

None of late bc chrome won't stop sh!tting the bed on PC. On mobile it's been fine though. I suspect windows updates are somehow involved...

I'm trying to use basic authentication in the URL for my webcams. ( http://foo.bar@ipaddress.com ) Is there a Chrome plug-in for that?
