I have had a Nokia 3360 since January 2002 and it was great for awhile, but it isn't very durable at all. Late this summer before I go to college I'll certainly be getting a new phone. All in all I guess it's been okay, but the last 6 months have been less than stellar. Also, the built in antennae is bitchy - if I hold the phone wrong (with my hand over the built in antennae or something) the reception gets crappy and it sucks down battery life like nothing. Oh yeah, another thing, battery life has decreased significantly I think.

At the time the 3360 was a good phone but presently there are much better phones out there.

Night, I have the exact same phone through Verizon. I like it except for the phone book which is a pain to use.

Siemens S40

I'd get a Sony Ericsson T68i or T300 if I had to get a phone right now.

Samsung T300 with Verizon. Love it except I can not sync it with a computer.

Had a Nokia 6160 with AT&T. Doubt I'll ever go back to a Nokia phone.

I hear very bad things about the reception on the T68i

Your battery life is that bad? I get about a day's worth of use out of it, with almost an hour of talk time, on the slim battery! I don't make that many calls, either, especially on weekdays, so I usually can get a couple days out. Are you sure it's been conditioned and everything? You might want to see if you can get a new battery out of Verizon, though I wouldn't hold my breath.

To answer the question, Verizon and Motorola T720.

It's not that bad, about the same if not better than my S40 (which doesn't have the best RF either)... My friend has one and he's happy with it. I wouldn't recommend it if the coverage is weak in your area, but then you shouldn't get a GSM phone in the first place.

The T300 is one of the best GSM phones regarding RF.

I've had my Samsung 8500 ever since it came out (well, 3 months before it was publically available :), the wonders of retail ;) ) Love it. It taken a beating over the years though. Missing a screw, one of the sides about to come off....I plan on keeping it until it dies.

owner of nokia 8260.. Although it's a great phone and I have no probs with it, I'm starting to get sick of its low-res dotty display and sort of want a flip phone next time..

I'm one of many former Nokia 8290 owners who had to trade in their phone b/c of the LCD problem.

I now own a Nokia 6390. :)
