The cheapest one possible. The base t-mobile garbage. I guess I am too old to waste money on a $300-$600 cell phone that takes pics/IM's/etc just because kids think its cool.

hmmm, i'm 40 and i have an Audiovox 6600. does that make me a kid wannabe?

oh ya, it's invaluable for my business as i am a single employee proprietership and i don't want to hire a secretary and all that stuff. all my calls from clients come directly to my cell phone (actually i use my motorola v710 soon to be an E815 for answering calls) and i keep my schedule / email / contacts list etc updated on my audiovox. that's about $800 worth of phones btw, but it's my whole office. i don't keep an office work out of my car.

and yes, my "toys" are invaluable for my business. ;)

The lowly Nokia 3220 through T-Mobile. And it's just fine for me and does what I need it to do. :)

So that's all that matters.

Or some people are just early adopters or like technological toys?

I have a V600... have had it for 2 years now, and hopefully it'll last me another 2 years. Hopefully by that time OLED phones will be much more popular.
