YMMV I guess.
Do you have the number for Sprint employee accounts? I may be needing that in the future and I'd love to have it. Thanks!!

Fuzzy - if Verizon works well in your area, wait a week or so and take a look at their new Voyager by LG - it is being dubbed "the iPhone killer." If Verizon works well (for coverage) in your area - stick with it. Where I am and in most of the Western US I travel in, Sprint rules - especially their EVDO aircard speed. If you intend to travel abroad, then T-Mobile is good as well as ATT/Cingular.

Thread revival - unfortunately I'm locked into my Verizon account for a little (much) longer than I thought - so I'm looking at the i760 - anyone have that phone and want to comment on it?

I tested out the I760 before I left VzW. Its a nice phone with one exceptional feature: a tactile keypad on the front of the phone. I'd murder for this to be a normal feature. Other than that, its nothing special, just a run of the mill slider smartphone.

Seeing how the choices are limited with verizon, I still think this is their best pda phone.

just a heads up, most discussion on sero say you will not qualify for the $25 referral if you sign-up online (ymmv). i think you do qualify if you order over the phone. in either case, i'd be up for a referral if you are.

I also just recently jumped on sero and q9c (black friday, actually). am i happy with it? well, i'm coming from an old old cingular plan that was 29.99 for 250anytime / 5000 night and weekend and that's it. oh, and a nokia 6100. now, i love my nokia 6100. But...holy crap, this smartphone thing with unlimited data is just nuts. i can easily look past the size for all the added functionality. and unlocked gps was a pleasant surprise. so yeah, i'm way happy considering what i switched from :). let me know if you have questions regarding the q9c (i'm no expert but i've been reading a lot)

wait until you get into using vnc on it to control your music on your home theater, or even change your tv channels when your remote batteries run out! ive been doing lots of fun stuff with my pearl but tmo's internet is pretty damn slow, im really excited to jump on evdo. it says i get free overnight shipping, i might actually have this by saturday. only thing i can think of its a shame theres no wifi in the q9c but oh well, the internet is fast enough.
