What CD's do you recommend for home theater listening?

you are confusing HD-CD with SACD. HD is just a normal CD with a little extra information encoded to allow for 20-bit playback on compatible players. SACD is a completely different format.
 
This isn't DVDA or SACD, but just plain old DVD (as far as I know - has DD 5.1 and DTS), but Eric Clapton's 'One More Car, One More Rider' DVD is great. The audio company that installed the system in our main presentation room used it as one of the demos. Great mix of his acoustic and electric pieces and the video quality is amazing too (the source video had to be high def it's so clear.) I wish they could timewarp back and do this with his Unplugged performance.
