what CD ripper program do you use make mp3s from a cd?

please don't use audiocatalyst -- it uses the xing codec which absolutely sucks.

I use EAC for ripping and encoding to MP3 (and EAC in conjunction with MPC & Vorbis as well).

Required r3mix.net link for mp3 discussions.

EAC to rip. Then Razor Lame batch style to encode. Tag & Rename to add the id3 tags.

Using CDEX as we speak :) On the fly ripping--> encoding taking about 25 seconds per track with my lite-on 24x10x40 cdrw drive and althon 1700+ XP.

EAC or CDex with LAME 3.91 --alt-preset standard for MP3's
EAC or CDex with mppenc 0.90s --xtreme --nmt 16 --tmn 32 for MPC's

I use a little program called freeripmp3 (rips and encodes) saw an article on it at some website like zdnet or something. Does pretty good, but i would'nt know the difference because I am half deaf.
