I have an ACER 20x10x40 burner, running on windows xp. I was trying to use easycdcreator platinum (which i really like b/c its simple). Easycd used to work, and i have downloaded the winxp fix, so that should not be a problem. However, my cpoy of easy cd wasnt exactly legal, which might affect things . . .

thoughts?

butch84, if simplicity is what you're after, stick w/ the MS XP built-in burning s/w. My friend is quite new to burning, and he deosn't have any problems w/ XP's burning program. Hope this helps.

clone and nero... I hate that MS put in native burning. Tho it will work, just wont have all the advanced tools.

Check Roxio's site.....I have an AOpen 24X10X40 that Roxio does not support yet. If the burner is supported, try the 5.02b patch(it works great, but take two is not supported). If the burner is not supported, stick with Nero 5.5.5.1 and XP patches
