I used Easy CD Creator for ages, and then when I got my spiffing new 48X burner, I switched to Nero (it came with the drive).

It is so much better than EZCDC. It crashes less often, and it is easier to use.

I also use CloneCD, which is simplicity in itself for making a straight backup of a disc.

Yup another vote for Nero, it used to be a resource hog for me too, but with the 52x burner, it does not seem too bad. I can actually play MP3s while burning a cd and it wont skip or lag or crash.

I have tryied all the above and then some... I am currently using CD Mate 2.2.8.1 and it is by far the best.
It is fast, and is ease to use. It has, in short, copied some of the most difficult disks for me where others have produced coasters.
Additionaly, CD Mate has a good site with forum, updates, archives (for copy protection information trouble shooting etc.).

That sayed, nero is a second choise, mostly for ease of use.
