That is wild! I can see (left to right) BGR, but if I get closer to the monitor I only see black characters.

What's interesting is it's very faint on my 2nd monitor but very pronounced on my laptop.

I wonder what it would look like on my home 24" IPS LCD.

I have cleartype on, and it looks like any other text.

Looks normal to me - my conclusion is that your monitor sucks. 🙂

Don't see it. Maybe because all my monitors are PVA/MVA.

CRT or LCD?
If you are using a CRT you may need to adjust the convergence (and leave ClearType off).
