What causes the slowdowns of this forum?

I'm just curious. I read the article about the power behind these servers, and it seems like there is plenty. Although there is a definite slow down during peak times. Is it because of bandwidth limitations, or CPU utilization? I don't remember of the article mentioned the bandwidth of the Anandtech website - does anybody know? I'll try to dig it up myself.

Its an issue with the database server, which is going to be replaced soon. The boss, Anand himself is building the new box, and he will install it personally, to make sure everything is wroking right. Like sohcrates says, head over to the Forum Issues forum and have a look at whats happening.
