What caused the last time you (almost) laughed at somebody?

For me it was today in class when a student said (paraphrased) "Oh man, I just had my first interview and it was so rough. I thought interviews existed just to make sure you aren't a weirdo or something. Almost all of the questions were about technical crap!"

I stifled my laughter, but it was hard.

Why hold back? When someone says something stupid, I figure it's for my enjoyment...and I laugh at them to ensure that they know their work is appreciated.

A guy just got duped by the white van speaker scam at work, i managed to hold my laughter after he paid $800 for them "but they were $2799 on the website!" he said...
