What case will fit my new PSU? - Help!

Hello,
I just purchased an Allied 400 watt PSU from Newegg. I tried to fit into my old Gateway Midtower ATX case(from 1998) but it just will not fit. I wanted to save a little money and recycle my old case, but looks like that's not going to happen. My question is:



Is there a decent case out there that will fit this particular PSU? I dont want to spend no more than $35.

Has anyone had this problem before? Won't most PSU fit all ATX cases?

The PSU should fit into all standard ATX cases. However, oftentimes OEMs used proprietary parts in older PCs. Fortunately this is getting better. You can get any ATX case and use your PSU.
