What case is this? Would like to use it for some of my builds. Looks like toolless drive bays, and a side window.

That's a pre-built custom-style gaming rig for $530. Not a bad deal, either.
 
According to a Google Image Search, it's a LOGISYS Computer CS380RD. It does indeed seem to have tool-less 3.5" and 5.25" drive bays, a side window (one photo makes it look hinged, but I think that's just some composition trickery), and seemingly acceptable ventilation. Not bad for $40. One odd thing: the placement of the side panel fan mount. At least with a 140mm fan, it overlaps the PSU mount. I guess there's room there for it, but it's odd nonetheless. A bit disappointing that it only comes with one fan, but I guess you can't expect much more for $40.
 
I don't know about you, Valantar, but I have this habit -- a mere inclination -- to just replace most of the fans that come bundled with a case, given what I usually intend to do with it. I think the only exception were two CM 200mm fans bundled with my HAF 922s. For the most part, all those 200mm fans were replaced with BitFenix Spectre-Pros. The CMs were relatively limp, by my opinion, anyway . . .

For the price, that case would be a good replacement for the kloodge of a CM Centurion midtower I used to build my brother's Ivy Bridge system. The Centurion is a piece of shit. I've been thinking about raising Bro's system with this sort of upgrade, and for a while.

That's the right price. Can I get one in the States?

If you're building low-cost gaming PCs for teenagers, that's probably the right kind of aesthetic to go for.

Same here, but I doubt that's an option for VL's PC building business...
 
I had a Thermaltake Xaser III when I was... 15 or so. Less gaudy, but not for lack of trying. Early 2000s gamer chic, I suppose. Also: a horrible, horrible case.

Not in my experience. I guess the build quality was okay (the cast aluminium front face was rather nice, but the aluminum panels in general were rather flimsy) but it was a massive hassle to build in and had awful cooling. Oh, and none of the "tool-less" mounting hardware came even close to working - the PCIe holders interfered with GPUs even at standard PCIe card height, hard drive mounting was awful, and even the tool-less ODD mounts were useless. It was discarded (and subsequently cut to pieces for materials for a mod) as soon as my P4 rig died. Good riddance.
