What carrier/phone were you using 2 years ago? What are you using now?

Then: HTC Touch on Sprint
Now: HTC Evo 3D on Sprint

Had an Evo 4G for a year in between.

Nokia 8100
Iphone 3GS
Iphone 4

Even though the Nokia 8100 was a dumbphone it felt like a prestige phone. Hefty weight, solid construction, it just stood out from the rest. Still can't beleive I paid $500 for it, and that's with a 2yr contract lol, even Apple can't get that kind of money out of me.

Been with VZM since they were GTE.

Samsung Omnia -> OG Droid. Was waiting on the Bionic. Now just waiting...

Then: Razr v3xx on AT&T (got it free on a family plan with my dad) I was pretty fond of that phone. Over 2 years old at that time.

That Oct: Got my own plan and a 3GS.

Now: iPhone 4 on AT&T (Got it on release day for $299 and sold my unlocked 3GS for $325) Cost me $20 all in all for the phone/new case.

Future: Either iPhone 5 or SGS2, most likely on AT&T if they ever get their LTE plan rolling. Rumor is early Jan for my area for LTE.

Then: G1 on AT&T. Slow on edge, but sufficed.
Now: Desire Z (G2 NAM A7275) on AT&T. HSDPA, 3G speeds no problemo.

😉. Not giving up on that $10 unlimited plan.

Still with ATT using iphone 3Gs. The phone still works fine, but the volume button fell off. I will probably upgrade next year.

Verizon Droid
Verizon Droid

Actually, no. Yesterday I finally cancelled and ate the ETF. Fucking tired of Verizon ass raping me. Now I am only using the HD7.

2 years ago: Casio "GzOne" Type-S on Verizon
Today: HTC Thunderbolt on Verizon

Used T-Mobile briefly in between, with the G2 by HTC.

T-Mobile got me hooked on smart phones, wireless data, and the portable wifi hotspot, but failed to impress with their network coverage, especially in the far-out burbs and rural areas. I knew from the second month that I would switch back to Verizon sooner or later, and so I did about a week before Verizon ended new sign-ups for unlimited data.

Oct 2009: Motorola Z6c on VZW.
Oct 2010: Motorola Droid on VZW.
Now: HTC Trophy on VZW.
Oct 2011: some awesome (Nokia?) WP7 on VZW.

Z6c is on Page Plus I carry it on jobsites. Before that I went through a couple v710's and v265's.
