I'm getting a new car, my budget is 25k
I know basickly what I want, but was wondering what would you get for the same amount.
I want to use the car for casual use, driver to work, visit family on weekends etc.
so it doesn't have to be a pickup, or a sports car (although if you want feel free to mention).
 
I don't mean for this to sound like a thread crap, but personally, I'd get a reliable used vehicle for about 5-6k,
And, invest the rest. (or purchase something more related to my own recreation)
But, I only spend 5 minutes in the car to work and 5 to home, except for trips to the store.
I suppose, if I had to spend an hour a day in my car, I may consider spending more for it, but, I'd rather buy a nice boat or a touring kayak or a whitewater kayak or new fishing equipment or backcamping gear or...
 
honestly, what I would do is put that into a downpayment towards a house 😛.

but if i were going to get a 25K car I would step it up to about 30K and get a 2001 M3 w/about 40K miles or so ... definitely 😀
 
Get a used 1990 Ford Festiva and save the rest of the money to spend on something else..... like a down payment on a house...... whore..... boat........
 
Another vote for the Saab 9-2x Aero, Saab 9-3 Linear (with hte GM discount now only 22ish?), Acura TSX (although it is a tad above 25...27k)
 
25k is a waste of a price point imho, either get something around 20k and save the money or save a bit more and get a car in the 30k range.
