Well last night I got the sh!t knocked out of me and my truck last night. Making a left turn waiting for the red, see this white car and white chevy tahoe crusing for the light, the white car has about 2 car lengths on the SUV so he barely makes it through the light and I thought that the tahoe was slowing down for the light so I make the left and suddenly I am facing the wrong way and my truck is making funny noises, so I turn it off and well that was fun, and this was in a F-150 x-cab, long bed, 4x4 fully loaded with stuff in the back. Way to much damage bent frame, cracked the frame by the engine mounts, broke the engine mounts, broke the passenger side axle trashed the rim, sheared the exhaust manifold off. Well it was his fault cause he ran the red so I am going to have about 4-5 grand to spend on a new car, so what should I get, keep in mind I am 6'7" 290. It must get good mileage, be somewhat sporty, and reliable. So any ideas would be apperciated.

dood you should've gone ot the hospital in an ambulance and it would've at least tripled your payout.. and you could've gotten a brand new f150.. you better get a lawyer too unless you have witnesses or a police report saying he ran the red... otherwise it's your word against his and in this case you should've yielded so it doens't look too good

if your looking for a car, get a 94 nissan maxima.....

a truck, get a tundra or a chevy that has not been used as a truck (ie, someone's daily commuter).

Yeah...if you've got a vehicle that can absorb an SUV blindside, then there's no reason to switch :)
