What car should I get? Budget $15k-$27k

At least there's a visible improvement over the integra/rsx/civic days.

I remember when you couldn't go anywhere without seeing one unless you were in norcal or something.

My vote is for the 2011 Ford Mustang GT. It's about 2 grand more than your high end but sooooo worth it.

412hp in a 3600lb car. That thing is going to be quick. They're sexy looking too.

If you can't swing the extra $2k then go for the V6 model. 305 hp. That's just friggin' awesome. Ford's got their shit together.

no to the porsche. I have a buddy who has the cayenne. He loves the way it drives, but it has tons of electrical problems. It's always in the shop for one thing or another electrical wise

Compare this: (handsome looking car)

QFT, even if you black out the grill wedge, the car just looks like shit.

LOL @ this thread.
Are you kidding me? $15k to $27k? WTF.

Hey guys i'm thinking about getting a Hyundai or a Lexus because my price range is ridiculous as my thinking.

Not really. When I was looking for a new car, I looked at used RX8's ($10k) to a 2010 S4 ($50k)

Some people just have wide ranges. I think I picked the perfect balance for what I wanted.

He's just got a wide broad range and is seeing what's up.. read the thread. But since its a broad range, it's good to see what opinions people have and what cars they like.

I'm also out of the car loop as of the last 3-5 years.

Was seriously looking to getting a IS 250/350 a few years back. I can see that working. Sleek, for young/middle aged, and works for the kids, save the extra cash and use it for something else. Maybe bump it up to the IS-F if you're hurting for some supercar.. saw someone in the neighborhood with it for the first time a day ago and my head turned.

But yeah if you go the suv route, 4runner-highlander-fj trio seems really it for name title and reliability. Helped my pops purchase a 2008 FJ and it's the fancier 4R from what I can tell. It's 2 doors though, hassle for back seats.

They turned their head because they thought the driver was retarded for souping up a Camry. lol

Actually, your gas consumption basically has you paying the same as if you had an S4 anyway. I kill myself!!

Holy shit man -- that is not far from the truth. Gas is KILLING me now. I am getting around 150-170 miles per tank. I really got to learn to stop revving this car. ^_^

Wow a car suggestion thread went 25 messages without someone mentioning a G35/37 ... must be a record for this forum!

I should note that I dont like the G and won't every buy one because of the image that comes with that car here. They're usually driven by riced out "AzN's" that graduated up from civics. Its a decent car though, but you could stick the VQ V6 in a box and it would go like stink as well, not gracefully or smoothly, but it would do it.

05 GTO, should be right near 20k tops. (As you all can tell, it's my 'dream' car) 😉
But in reality, if you want a car that will last you pretty much forever, get an Accord, or save even more and get one new, post 2002 (timing chain -> timing belt)

Damn, you know what. It never occured to me when looking for a car, but an AMG C32 would be pretty kick ass.

This isnt actually a bad idea, a friends of mine dad has one of these and its been near bulletproof for 150k miles. Nothing outside of regular maintenance and be beats the hell out of it every day. They go like hell in a straight line, are comfy and cheaper than the comparable M3/RS4 without the maintenance nightmares.

I wonder how hard it would be to find one. I would have loved to at least test drive one of these guys.

I bet a lot of people would sleep on you at a red light with this car. lolol

lulz, it's because my stupid buddy got a 2006 C55 (idiot has no points left) and gave a ride to my wife and that is how I ended up buying a 2006 E350 4Matic.

I am more of the sedan type. Don't really care to feel the road that much. Especially with the super crappy road we have. I have probably 2 dozen stone chips on my wind-shield.

Theres 3 of them at the Merc dealer down the street from my work. They arent that hard to find down here, but CA has a prime used car market.
