VW bug type 1 is still produced in mexico and brazil.

Nope. They ceased production in mid 2003 in Mexico which was the last place they were being built.

beetle comes to mind

Except there was a decade or two that it wasn't produced, thus killing the "continuously" portion of the question.

The VW Type 1 Beetle was produced continuously up until the last factory in Mexico shut down in mid 2003. They just stopped building them in Germany and importing them into the US in 1978.

And thus, we have reached the end of this thread. 🙂

boooo who the fvck has heard of that car?

apparently everyone but you. crown vic??? gimme a break...
Crown Vic has been in production for 27 years.

yeah without any changes to the car.... what horrible POSs those things are

many changes were made to both the body, drivetrain, suspension and steering.

I was being sarcastic... that being said though, Crown Civs and Grand Marqui are quite possibly the worst cars ever made. My roommate has one with 40K miles and it's just plain aweful.

Nothing wrong with those cars. Good ride, decent power, rear drive, lots of space.

you could knock the handling and the economy, but that doesn't make them terrible.

I've got a town car (same chassis, stretched a wee bit) and it's wonderful.

The Corvette isnt on the list because they didnt produce any in 1982, so that killed the streak.

Besides that morgans car in that link, I would say either the f series truck from Ford or the Chevy Suburban are close contenders.

Edit: I think the suburban predates that morgan car. Came out in the early 30's

The F sieries truck came out in 1948

ummm, in Australia that title belongs to the mighty Ford Falcon, it was first released in 1960 and has been going strong since with special mentions to the 1967 XR GT, 1971 XY GTHO Phase 3, 1973 XA GT RPO83/Phase 4, 1979 XD ESP, 1982 XE ESP(Fairmont Ghia), 1991-2 EB XR6, 2003-2005 BA XR6T

very very special cars...long live the Falcon
