Speaking of wishful thinking, I just got this month's European Car over the weekend and in there they have the Maserati timeline.

The Maserati Twin-Turbo. Talk about a sleeper! This thing is a 4 door, as-family-as-you-want-to-be sedan and it has a TWIN TURBO V6! Yeehaw! 😉

1987 Honda Accord LX with 180k+ miles...
Good old manual transmission with all stock parts (except radiator)
Paid $3100 for it and was rear ended a month later. AAA gave me $3000. So I basically got an almost free car 😛

Damage isn't that bad either...

That car is loyal.. I carted three server towers, three 17' moniters, plus keyboards, mice, and all the other supporting crap to LA in six hours with two other passengers 🙂. Next car is gonna be a Jetta GL or a big a$$ truck 🙂
