Me: 2007 Chevy Avalanche LTZ- The ultimate utility vehicle. Can haul 4x8 sheets of drywall with the tailgate closed & fully protected-in any weather conditions. Maroon with black leather.

Wife: 2006 Cadillac STS (w/ Luxury Package, sunroof, NAV, 13 speakers Bose Sound & DVD)
Watching Blackhawk Down in this car incredible. I can see why it got an Academy Award for best sound. Bluetooth for the phone is neat too. DVD Audio is cool too. Stealth Gray with Black Leather

I might get her into the 2008 CTS. It is a beauty.

Off topic, but I always get a chuckle at 'Special Edition' trim levels on cars, because that's all you'll ever see of those cars (ie: the PT Cruiser comes to mind).

As if anyone is NOT going to want to be 'special' lol. Sociology at it's best.

Yeah you're right, you're paying more just for a different Cobra bumper and snake emblems. I don't know where I got off thinking the Cobra had a hand built supercharged V8 capable of 800+ HP and independent rear suspension, and that pretty much only the chassis and body panels and the carpet have any resemblance to a mustang. I must have been dreaming.

FYI the Cobra drive train alone cost more than an entire V6 mustang. There is a huge difference.

With few exceptions, most cars that have 'special edition' versions are just a 'limited edition' color scheme and some gold emblems to make the purchaser feel 733t. *spank spank*

My main point was, for example, there isn't a PT cruiser around here that ISNT a 'limited edition'... everybody likes to feel special.

Edit: I'll concede this much however: Before 2003 the Cobra was little more than a slightly modified GT. But even then 4v vs. 2v is a bit more of a difference than special edition embroidered head rests and the plaque on the trunk...
