OK. I have an MSI 694D Pro (dual S370) motherboard which has bad caps, and I want to try to replace them. I thought I had a donor motherboard (to use caps from), but that fell through. So now I'm looking at purchasing some caps online.
The caps that are currently on the board are 2700uf and 6.3v. I have read somewhere else that 2200uf caps should work just fine. I have found some caps on mouser.com, but I'm not really sure exactly what to get. From my search of "2200uf 6.3v" I get 15 results. They are listed in the following categories:
Bi-Polar/Non-Polar Electrolytic Capacitors
General Purpose Electrolytic Capacitors
High Temp Electrolytic Capacitors
Low Impedance Electrolytic Capacitors
Unspecified Electrolytic Capacitors
Can someone tell me which of the above categories I should look in to find replacement caps for my board? The prices range from about $0.37 to $1.10 per cap. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
