What can you wear with a dark blue t-shirt?

I was given a really nice t-shirt as a gift. It's blue - about the same shade as dark blue jeans, but a little bit more on the gray side. The material is really cool and gives a nice effect. It has a black collar. It's pretty nice - could be worn to a club.

Anyways... I have no idea what this would "match with" pants and shoes wise? I don't understand color coordinating AT ALL. I just wanna know what to wear with this shirt. LOL

Help me ATOT, you're my only hope.

(Like somebody else said, jeans that are a tad lighter, or acid washed jeans...they seem to be all the rage.)
 
Sorry, but I don't see how a really nice T-shirt makes for classy evening wear regardless of what kind of pants you have on.
