im building a new system and im thinking of putting this board in it. Yes i know there are much better ones out there but i have my reasons. I am interested in hearing about your experiance with this board or what you have heard about it.
 
I owned one until recently, when I sold it after an upgrade. It was a great board as far as I was concerned. The board is basically the same as the ECS K7S5A. The BIOS updates mimic the K7S5A. Do not be concerned about the PC Chips name. They have done a good job with the M830LR.
 
This board is exactly the same as the ECS K7S5A ................. good, fast and inexpensive!
The PCChips 830LR = Amptron K7-830LR = ECS K7S5A .........!
It may not be exactly the same color pcb as the K7S5A ............. my Amptron K7-830LR is the standard, common generic mb pcb color.

I agree, there are better mb's out there, but NOT much better ones and not ANY better ones for the price $$$!!!
