Sitting down or standing up? Plastic weights with sand or cast iron? And what colour are the weights?

I had no problem doing several sets of 10 with 65's for a long time. But I tweaked one of my shoulders and now only do 55's to be safe.

55lb dumbells, usually sitting at an incline. Sets of 15, followed by one-handed sets of 10 (10 per arm).

I don't do them with dumbells.

I was able to do a 225 lb barbell 8x though (sitting down). I'm not sure why I have such an easy time with this one, people say that much weight should be hard. I'm not huge or anything, it just feels light.

I can't do them the way Koing does, though. My back has too much of an arch in it and bends under the weight.

Isn't that a function of core strength?

I have tendonitus (I think) in my shoulder - probably from poor form. I have to take it easy on my shoulder and back routines.

That must be your body weight and then some! :Q

I was squatting 110KG earlier and tried to press it.. couldnt even get it off my shoulders! Thats a little heavier than yours but not much!

In my youth (20s), 75lbs with ease, but I usually did behind the neck barbell presses. In the front just turns into an upright bench press.

Today, I just use my 30lb son.

If you want to see how you stack up in strength, sign up for a powerlifting meet.

Probably, but I never lifted like that. I always used the shoulder press bench at the gym.

Hell, when I started squatting a few years ago, I could only properly squat 135 lbs. I could legpress a lot, but a proper squat is much harder. Koing does the real deep squats which are even harder than the conventional squats. Since I don't train to do them, my legs would probably just give out if I went that low.

At the time, that was about my bodyweight.

I'm on the bottom row, on the left. This pic was a while ago, back in 2000. At the time I was 5'10, about 225 lbs.

Here's a more recent one of me:

after dislocating my shoulder a couple years ago, it doesn't take much weight over the shoulders to make me wince and bite my lip in pain, so you certainly won't see me stacking on the weight for shoulder presses.

My max is 80s @ 6 reps.
After a warmup set with 30-50s.

I spend an entire day on shoulders and core.

I can do 100s for about 10 never tried 110's yet(they are probably hard to start up, I hate that, same prob when trying to use 120's on incline, wear myself out just getting it started)

Barbell can do 225 only about 5-6 times

depends on my form,
but the most I've done was 8 reps @ 2x85lbs. Definitely bad form - a lot of back arching.

Doing it strictly, last time I did 2 sets of 8 reps @ 65lbs.

Edit: I'm talking arnold presses, straight up military press I should be able to rip 20lbs more

6ft / 17X lbs and work out hard core

Before I injured my shoulder, I did 10 reps with 60lb dumbells. I dont do military press anymore, however.
