My monitor is positioned in a location with a lot of EM waves, and i don't feel like repositioning it. But the EM is causing my monitor image to vibrate. (it's in the basement near the electricity gauge meter thingy, which i'm suspecting to be the culprit).

is there anything i can use to block/neutralize it? something REAL cheap?

Try some different types of metal mesh, get some metal screen stuff from the hardware store, or some other ferrous mesh.

Aluminum foil. Its the same "technology" used in shielded cables. It may sound lo-tech, but it sould do the trick, and look very retro sixties!
