what can I use to hook 14 gauge speaker wire together?

I want to make some quick-disconnects for a home theater project and also for my car speakers. Is there any kind of couple I can get to do that? Basically, I have two pieces of wire and want to connect them and be able to pull them apart easily. So, I don't want to wrap the wires, solder, or use heatshrink. I want some kind of male and female connectors that I can pull apart when needed. Is there such a thing?

Remember, you're going to want to run the Aura's in series parallel to maintain a 4-ohm load.

Whoops, I've been telling him to run them as an 8-ohm load like I needed to. I didn't see that the amp you recommended was 100watts for 4-ohm.

Did you try to get him to get some transducers instead? ;)

Bass shakers ARE transducers, what are you talking about :D :D

as for the wiring...text

the only thing I can't figure out is what to do when the wire goes from the amp to the shakers...it looks like it splits and connects to two shakers...do I just split the wire or something?

Yes. It would take 16 bass shakers to equal 1 TST239

A TST429 is three hundred times stronger than a pair of bass shakers. It's used in tank simulators.

completely random link

nope! :D

Edit: Nevermind, I'll just use wire nuts. That's what I did with the HU in the car :)
