what can i use to conceal cables after wall mounting?

i had a nervous enough time wall mounting my plasma.
i do not feel like cutting more holes in my wall.

is there some sort of conduit that goes along the wall that doesn't look too ugly?

Go to Home Depot and check out to the Wiremold section. There are a lot of choices for surface mounted raceways that can hide those wires very nicely, without looking too obtrusive.

I would cut one more hole and run the wires in the wall, or into the basement and back up somewhere if possible. Wire molding is tacky.

If you run them into your wall, make sure you use cables that are rated for in-wall use.

electric outlet behind the TV and A/V wires through the wall is the only way (IMO) to conceal the cables. 🙂

Otherwise, an ugly racetrack is your only choice...short of duct tape to the wall 😛

I guess you could always do some sort of floral arrangement or buffet table below the TV to obscure the view of the racetrack.

High-quality wire raceways can look quite nice, as long as you carefully mount them. Cableorganizer.com has a wide selection of raceways, both for corner mounting and straight-wall. There are various joint covers, splicers, and connectors to make the whole thing look neat.

Not cheap, but certainly not overly expensive for their quality and ease of installation. Do note that you will probably have to repaint if you ever choose to remove them, though, as the adhesive is quite resilient. It helps to have another set of hands when installing, as you really only get one shot to apply neatly.
