What can I use to clean my pool table?

The felt on my pool table has become very dull colored, and I was wondering what I can do to restore the color. I would put new pool table felt on it, but that costs a lot of money and I think you need a professional to install it right. Thanks.

Good luck...I had a stain on mine from a girlfriend and I...well...anyway I never could get the stain out and just ended up having new felt put on it.

I don't think there's any way to fix a dull in teh color, that just happens with use and time, but for future reference, you can clean it with a vacuum cleaner. Part of a summer job once was maintaining the rec room and that's how we kept the pool tables clean.

when i had my table installed they said to never vacuum it. Other than brush, i don't know what to tell you to do.

Bleach should take care of those dull spots...
