Hmmm, I'd probably get a 9800xt or FX5959 video card, another 120GB SATA hd so I could run raid level 0, and some 15" Cerwin Vega speakers for my home theater setup. Okay, that would be $1300. I guess I'd just finance the difference!

I like a good All in wonder card like the 9600pro...I imagine it is a nice vid card as well...


You could start with the above and can with smart shopping keep it in the range you have listed and have a screaming computer no stock pc available today will beat!!!
