What can I expect for ~$1000 for a pre built system?

I've built my own PC since my first P133. Don't have the time or the desire to build another.
Will be using it for Adobe CS4, Some gaming (No FPS's), and a media server.. Would like a nice lcd as well. Monitor has to be one will a hard display. Not sure what it's called, not the cheap non glossy kind.
 
you could probably easily build one if you hit gen hardware, but if you really dont want to, you need to check hot deals and some other deal sites and be ready to jump on something when it pops up.

there was a thread here or in gen hardware recently about dell outlet stuff. theres coupons regularly, you get the standard dell warranty, and there are lots of choices in places of being able to customize a system. you could find a coupon, get a nice system there and find a special on an LCD or two there or elsewhere and be all set
